Nosferatu 100th Anniversary

$19.99 presents the official Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Collectors Coin! Nosferatu: Eine Symphonie des Grauens (A Symphony of Horror) is a 1922 silent German Expressionist horror film directed by F. W. Murnau, starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife of his estate agent. Nosferatu, produced by Prana Film, is an unofficial adaptation of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula. Stoker’s heirs sued over the adaptation and a court ruling ordered all copies of the film to be destroyed. However, a small number of prints of Nosferatu survived and the film came to be regarded as an influential masterpiece of cinema and pop culture.  In fact, it is Nosferatu that is responsible for many pop culture vampire characteristics.

The design elements of the Nosferatu 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Collectors Coin include imagery from the original 1922 film featuring the iconic vampire, Count Orlok.

This addition to the Icon Coins family is limited to 500 coins minted.
